When searching for the ideal WordPress Blog Featured Image Size, you’ll find too many numbers which may be confusing. I have created a blog featured image (1920px by 1280px) template in Canva for you to be able to use easily.
I also created a template for your blog post image (1920px by 1080px) as seen below. Use the blog post image template in Canva.
If you need a template for a portrait image (1280px by 1920px) like shown below, use this template in Canva. The portrait image will look full and big in mobile view. Read this post from your mobile phone too, to see how the images would look like.
In Canva:
1. Delete all of the images and text you see.
2. Then replace the template with your own photo you want to use for your blog.
3. Resize the photo to fill up the template.
4. When you’re ready, click on Share then Download.
5. Make sure to change the File Type is JPG before finally clicking on the Download button.
